Volkswagen decided to update the third generation of the Touareg, providing the well-known SUV with more technology, greater comfort, a new range of engines and a more updated design.

On the outside, the renovated Touareg has a renewed front, which includes a new full-width chrome grille, while the R-eHybrid sports version has a black grille, which is accompanied by LED headlights, which can optionally be made of IQ.Light HD Matrix technology, with more than 38 thousand LEDs, a system that has the capacity to project a “carpet of light” to illuminate the road more precisely than ever.

At the rear, the headlights have been redesigned and have a horizontal stripe joining them, in addition to the European premiere of the Volkswagen logo illuminated in the center

The German brand also revealed that it improved the suspension of the renewed Touareg and equipped the SUV with a new roof load sensor that is interconnected with the electronics and that if a load is detected on the roof, it allows the control system such as the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) to intervene earlier to increase driving stability.

Depending on the version, the Touareg is available with the active rolling compensation system (adaptive running gear) as well as four-wheel steering.

The Volkswagen SUV is equipped with light-alloy wheels that can be from 19 to 21 inches, and in the case of the R-eHybrid version they can be 22 inches.

Inside, the standard equipment includes the 12-inch Innovision Cockpit, Discover Pro Max infotainment system, with a 15-inch screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, multifunction leather steering wheel, improved voice control, among other functions.
